The Lakes Region’s newest upscale, waterfront community is Meredith Bay. This 410+-acre private, gated luxury resort, vacation, and residential community sits high atop a mountain with stunning, panoramic Lake Winnipesaukee views. It really doesn’t get any better then this!
Meredith Bay will offer several distinct villages of single family homes, town homes, and condominiums. Akwa Vista will be Meredith Bay’s first neighborhood, encompassing 149 acres. This neighborhood will consist of high end single family home sites some of which are on lots offering unparalleled lake and mountain views. Home sites here start in the mid $100,000 range and the developer has a list of the finest builders ready to help you make your dream come true. As in all of the finest developments, covenants are in place to ensure architectural and landscaping integrity of the community.
The development of the Akwa Marina and Private Beach Club, which encompasses about 5 acres, will begin in 2008 and will be accessible by walking trails, golf carts, or automobile.
Other parts of this ultimate facility will include almost 5 acres dedicated for retail use, the 19 acre Akwa Village which is slated for condominiums, and Akwa Verdant which has 266 acres with 166 acres being residential and 60 acres being zoned for commercial resort uses.
Living at Meredith Bay, you can enjoy all that the Lakes Region of New Hampshire has to offer and you just might be able to see a lot of it right from your window or deck! With Lake Winnipesaukee at your feet enjoy boating, sailing, swimming, and all the water sports you can imagine. A short drive will bring you to a dozen golf courses or other sports including hiking and antiquing. Yes, antiquing is a sport here in New Hampshire! During the nine months of winter (it really just feels like nine sometimes) you can enjoy all our winter activities from this central location. Head out skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling or ice fishing if the spirit moves you, or stay in and look at that fabulous view from your cozy great room with that massive stone fireplace.
Meredith Bay is actually in Laconia, they are just trying to confuse you with the name. From Interstate 93, take Exit 23 bearing right off the exit (east) on Route 104. Follow Rt 104 to the end at the lights in Meredith and take a right and head South on Rt 3 towards Weirs Beach. You’ll go past the Tamarack Restaurant on the left unless you stop for a Lobsta’ Roll then you’ll see Funspot on the left, which you’ll have to bring the kids back to later. Continue past Funspot and the entrance to Meredith Bay will be on your left. Give me a call at 603-455-0335 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’d be happy to meet you there!
